Smart & Skilled Subsidised Learning
Smart and Skilled is a NSW Government initiative that supports people to gain the knowledge and skills to find employment and to advance their career.
As a Registered Training Organisation in NSW, Statewide Business Training is proud to be able to provide Smart and Skilled support to eligible people to take the next step in their education and development.
Are you eligible for Smart & Skilled Training
To be eligible you need to meet
the minimum criteria below:
- An Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or Humanitarian Visa Holder
- Aged 16 years or older and no longer at school
- Currently living or working in New South Wales
- OR a NSW veteran or their recognised partner or spouse.
How does this affect my student fees?
Smart and Skilled subsidised student fees depend on your:
- Eligibility requirements
- Personal circumstances
- Previous Government funding accessed
- Post-school qualifications

What courses are covered by the Funding?
The Skills List covers all qualification levels from Certificate II to Advanced Diploma which includes foundation skills, apprenticeships, traineeships, and accredited courses.
Statewide Business Training offers qualifications in Greater Sydney, Illawarra, Central Coast, Newcastle, including rural regions within NSW.
